A fun but interesting week!

My Mom is doing great. She is going to be 92 in Sept.
She lives in Ogden and loves it.

Brent and his cast. They had to hook him all up because he hit his head. It's been another busy week. First I went to Pagosa Springs with Brent on his job. It was beautiful, we had a great time. Then on Fri. we drove to Palm Springs for the day, Brent again had to work. Then on Sat. Brent decided to take a bike ride. He likes to ride when he is home. He came home in the morning and said you have to take a picture of my helmet. He had crashed and landed on his helmet and his arm. It was filled with rocks, he was all scraped up and looked hurt. He thought he was ok but when he moved his hand it hurt. I told him that he needed to go to the Dr. we called an of course on the weekend they had no x-ray machines. We had to go to the hospital. We ended up at the Mayo in Scottsdale. They took x-rays and he had a broken elbow. A broken elbow! He will have to go to a specialist next week. He might have to have an operation. He has a big (you could call it a cast) from his wrist to his shoulder on his right hand! Good thing that he is in good shape.

Well it has been a wild month and a half. I left on May 13th to go to a shower in Utah for Ashlee. It was a really fun shower. I decided to stay in Utah because of the cost of going back and forth. I stayed with Erin and helped her while A.P. was gone. She had a few craft shows to be in and her baby was not happy. Mollie came down and stayed with Maylee and took her to the doc. Ashlee finally had her baby on the 12 of June. Darla had a shower for her on the 24th and we had a great time there too. Meanwhile Ashlee and Erik were working on their basement. I helped with the painting. It took them longer to do that than they thought. It finally got done the day before I got home. Erik's kids came and we had a lot of fun. We went to West Fest to see the fireworks in 3D! They were great! The colors were terrific. I'm home now and am enjoying the heat! It's been 115, it's crazy. It was a fun and crazy month and a half. Great times being a Grandma.
